The operation

Canadian River Off-Road Adventures is a small, locally-owned SxS rental shop based just outside Amarillo. We don't run guided tours. We don't run a resort. We rent well-maintained, trail-ready side-by-sides to people who want to go ride.

Our owner has been wheeling these breaks since high school. The fleet is built and maintained in-house. When you pick up a rig, you'll get a real pre-trip walk-around and trail recommendations from someone who actually rides them.

The area

The Canadian River cuts a 200-mile-wide swath across the Texas Panhandle, carving red sandstone canyons, sand washes, and dry-bed corridors that are open to OHV use. The terrain ranges from beginner-friendly hardpack to technical canyon climbs and dune sections. Most days from October through May are prime; check our trail conditions page before you book during monsoon weeks.
